Dr. Hauschka Intensive Treatments with specially selected natural treasures in rhythmitised form complement the basic skin care routine. They support the skin when it has become unbalanced and needs a harmonising impulse. Clarifying Intensive Treatment (up to age 25) offers effective care for skin prone to outbreaks and spots during puberty.
Formulation: Rhythmitised dilutions of daisy and nasturtium with the gemstone rhodochrosite act quickly to balance the skin. Witch hazel and rhythmitised silver balance moisture content and stabilise skin, minimising the appearance of breakouts.
Skin condition: For blemished, young skin.
Usage
Skin cells are renewed every 28 days. Mirroring this same regenerative cycle, Intensive Treatments are to be used for 28 days. Intensive Treatments work most effectively when used four times a year, in each season, as a stimulus.
After morning and evening cleansing, mist 4-5 pumps onto the face, neck and décolleté then gently press into the skin. One bottle should provide a full 28 day course or a little over. The one bottle is a treatment course, use the contents of the bottle until it’s finished. When doing an Intensive Treatment use instead of Toner and Serum.

Q1. Why is there an age-specific version of the Dr Hauschka clarifying treatment?
Hormonal patterns, sebum production rates, and the skin's response to treatment differ between younger and older skin. The under-25 formula addresses the higher oil production and faster cell turnover common in teenage and early adult skin differently to the over-25 version.
Q2. Is it suitable for someone with blemishes near the eye area?
Apply to the face avoiding the eyelid and lash margin. Clarifying treatments are concentrated formulations and should not be used directly on periocular skin.
Q3. How is an intensive treatment different from a regular moisturiser?
It is used as a course, not daily, to address a specific skin concern more intensively than a moisturiser can. Follow the current product instructions for frequency and duration.
Q4. Is it NATRUE certified?

Q5. What kind of blemishes does the clarifying intensive treatment address?
It is suited to comedonal and inflammatory blemishes associated with oily and combination skin in younger skin. It is not formulated for cystic acne, which requires medical treatment.
Q6. How do I introduce it into my routine without irritating my skin?
Start with two to three applications per week and build up as your skin adjusts. Using it every day from the start is the most common cause of overreaction. Follow with the clarifying toner and a light moisturiser.
Q7. Can I use the Dr Hauschka clarifying range if I am also using prescription acne medication?
Check with your dermatologist or GP first. Some prescription actives, particularly retinoids and benzoyl peroxide, interact with other products and require a simplified routine.
