Description
Clarifying Steam Bath supports the skin’s natural self cleansing functions, opening pores, reducing the appearance of redness and softening blackheads and impurities. It is ideal for preparing the skin before further deep cleansing with Clarifying Clay Mask.
Formulation: Nasturtium, daisy and witch hazel support the skin’s self cleansing processes, encourage natural exfoliation and minimise the appearance of enlarged pores.
Skin condition: For all skin conditions, especially blemished skin prone to inflammation.
Tip
Blemishes can be spot treated by dabbing a little Clarifying Steam Bath directly onto the affect area. Also use Coverstick the moment you see a pimple and reapply regularly.

A facial steam bath uses warm steam infused with plant extracts to open pores, soften congestion, and prepare the skin for deeper cleansing or a mask treatment.
For oily and blemish-prone skin it is one of the most effective ways to loosen blocked pores before extraction or mask application.
Keep your eyes closed during a steam treatment. The steam itself is safe but eyes should remain closed throughout to prevent dryness from steam exposure.
Once or twice a week as part of a deeper cleansing routine. Follow immediately with a toner to help close pores after steaming.
Add the recommended amount to a bowl of hot water. Lean over the bowl with a towel draped over your head to trap the steam and breathe calmly for five to ten minutes. Keep a safe distance from the water surface to avoid scalding.
Yes. Plant extracts, no synthetic fragrance, biodynamic ingredients.
Steam suits oily and combination skin most. For dry or sensitive skin, steaming can temporarily disrupt the barrier and may feel uncomfortable. If you have sensitive skin, a warm damp cloth pressed against the face achieves a milder version of the same effect.
Facial steaming in the general beauty sense is not the same as a dedicated warm compress for meibomian gland dysfunction. A targeted warm eye mask held at a consistent temperature directly over the lids is more clinically effective for dry eye. Do not use the steam bath as a substitute for proper heat therapy.
