It helps to balance excessive oiliness, soothes redness and irritation and minimises the appearance of blemishes, blackheads and enlarged pores.
Formulation: Daisy and nasturtium minimise the appearance of blackheads and blemishes, visibly refine pores and reduce excessive oiliness. Anthyllis balances skin for a calm, even appearance.

After cleansing in the mornings and evenings, close eyes and mist Clarifying Toner directly onto your face and gently press into your skin.

Q1. What does a toner do and do I actually need one?
A toner balances the skin after cleansing, removes any remaining trace of cleanser, and prepares the skin to absorb what you apply next.
For a natural skincare routine, it is not strictly essential, but it improves the absorption of serums and moisturisers applied after it. The clarifying variant suits combination to oily skin.
Q2. Is it safe near the eye area?
Apply to the face avoiding the immediate eye area. Dr Hauschka toners are formulated without alcohol or synthetic fragrance but are not designed for direct periocular application.
Q3. How do I use it?
Apply to a cotton pad and sweep over the face after cleansing, avoiding the eye area. Or press it gently into the skin with clean hands for a less wasteful application.
Q4. Is it alcohol free?
Dr Hauschka formulations avoid denatured alcohol. Check the current ingredient list for your specific batch.
Q5. Can I use it morning and evening?
Yes, after each cleanse. Apply before serums and moisturisers for best absorption.
Q6. What is the difference between the clarifying toner and the facial toner?
The clarifying toner is designed for combination to oily skin and contains ingredients to help regulate sebum and refine pores. The facial toner is the standard formula suited to normal to dry skin. Choose based on your skin type rather than using both.
Q7. Can I use Dr Hauschka toner if I have sensitive skin that reacts to most toners?
The facial toner is the more appropriate choice for sensitive skin. If you have reactive skin that has struggled with toners before, the soothing day lotion used as a moisture-lock step without toner is also a valid approach. Introduce any new product one at a time.
