Benecos vegan Natural Eyeshadow Base with organic aloe vera juice and organic almond oil is the perfect base under the eyeshadow. With its transparent texture, it ensures better durability (as the pigments do not settle so quickly in the crease of the eyelid) and an intensified colour brilliance of your eyeshadow. On top of that, the organic chamomile contained in the base nourishes and soothes your eyelids.
Certified Natural Cosmetics (BDIH):
This eyeshadow base carries the trusted BDIH certification, which guarantees it meets strict standards for truly natural beauty. That means no synthetic dyes, fragrances, silicones, paraffins, or petroleum-based ingredients — only plant-based raw materials (where possible from organic farming), produced without animal testing and with environmentally responsible practices.
EFR rating: Bronze
This eyeshadow base is hydrating and gentle thanks to aloe vera, chamomile, and sunflower oil. However, the inclusion of natural parfum and mica near the lid margin means it doesn’t quite meet our Silver standard. Still a good choice for those wanting a more natural prep under eye makeup, just avoid applying directly to the waterline.
It creates a smooth, slightly tacky surface on the lid that eyeshadow pigment grips onto. Without one, natural oils on the eyelid break down colour through the day, which is why shadow creases or fades by afternoon.
Not strictly, but it makes the biggest difference on hooded or oily lids, where shadow tends to crease or disappear fastest. If you wear eyeshadow for a full day or evening, a base extends wear noticeably.
Apply a thin layer to the lid only, avoiding the waterline and lash line. Benecos formulates within its natural cosmetics standard, avoiding synthetic dyes and a range of commonly sensitising ingredients.
A small amount pressed onto clean, dry lids with a fingertip or brush, allowed to set for a few seconds before applying shadow on top. Less is more, a thick layer can cause shadow to slide rather than grip.
A fine, sheer base like this is designed to be colour neutral, intensifying true shadow colour rather than shifting it, unlike some tinted primers.
A standard eye makeup remover on a cotton pad removes base and shadow together as part of your normal end-of-day routine.
A lightweight, non-oily base applied thinly to clean lids is the standard fix for midday creasing. Benecos Prime Fine is formulated as exactly that kind of base, designed to hold shadow in place through a full day.
