    Q1. Why combine a supplement with a heat mask?

    They target different parts of the dry eye picture and work well together rather than competing.

    Lacritec works from inside the body to support the quality of your tear film over time. The heat mask is an immediate, external therapy that warms the eyelid glands to help the oils flow more freely. One is a slow build, the other gives relief that day.

    Do the mask first, drops if you use them after, and take the Lacritec capsules with a meal at any point in the day.

    The mask is separate from the supplement routine, so there is no interaction to manage.

    Possibly, at least at the start. Lacritec takes four to six weeks to build up. The mask gives more immediate comfort.

    Some people find their drop use reduces over time once Lacritec is established. That varies from person to person.

    Check the product listing for which mask is included. If it is the gel bead mask, it is fully reusable, both warm and cold. If it is a self heating steam mask, each sachet is single use.

    Three capsules per day with meals for the first six weeks, then two capsules per day as an ongoing maintenance dose. Take them with food to reduce the chance of digestive upset.
