By late afternoon your lid margin feels tight, itchy or irritated, and you are not always sure if it is your eyes or your liner.
Conventional liquid eyeliners commonly contain synthetic preservatives, alcohol at leave-on concentrations, and synthetic fragrance. Around a sensitive eye, any of those can quietly drive the problem.
Green tea and jojoba sit alongside eyebright, castor oil and candelilla wax in a formula certified to NATRUE standards.
Mineral pigments rather than synthetic dyes. No parabens, no phenoxyethanol, no PEGs, no silicones, no synthetic fragrance or preservatives. Ophthalmologically tested and suitable for contact lens wearers.
The ultra fine brush tip gives you control over line weight from a hair-thin flick to a thicker wing, without switching tools.
Rest your elbow on a stable surface. Apply in short connected strokes from the centre outward rather than one long sweep. Allow it to dry fully before opening the eye wide.

Dr Hauschka is certified to NATRUE standards and not tested on animals.
The formulation uses natural pigments and avoids synthetic fragrance, harsh preservatives, and conventional dyes that are commonly associated with eye area reactions.
Liquid liners in general carry more residue risk than pencils because the formula is more fluid and can travel more easily. Starting with a clean-ingredient liquid liner reduces that risk.
Rest your elbow on a stable surface to steady your hand. Apply in small connected strokes rather than a single sweep, starting from the inner corner or from the middle outward depending on your preference.
Allow it to dry fully before opening the eye wide.
Micellar water or oil-based remover on a cotton pad. Soak for a few seconds before wiping to avoid dragging. A cotton bud is useful for removing residue at the lash root without touching the eye itself.
Apply to the outer lash line after inserting lenses. Keep it away from the waterline and inner corner where migration into the tear film is most likely.
Every three months. The applicator tip contacts the lid margin every use and bacteria accumulate in the tube over time.
Check the current product label. Dr Hauschka offers both standard and longer-wear formulations.
