Optimel Dry Eye Gel | Manuka Honey | 10g

When dry, irritated eyes and inflamed eyelids persist overnight, Optimel Manuka Forte Eye Gel offers a premium, preservative-free treatment enriched with pharmaceutical-grade Leptospermum (Manuka) honey and glycerin. This potent gel helps reduce bacterial load on the eyelid margin, stabilises the tear film and alleviates discomfort associated with meibomian-gland dysfunction and aqueous-deficient dry eye.
In clinical use the gel demonstrated significant improvements in ocular surface signs and symptoms within one month of regular application. It reduced Colony Forming Units (i.e an overgrowth of naturally found bacteria on the eye surface).

Eyehouse Tip: Apply a small pea-sized amount along the lower lid margin before bed and wait at least 30 minutes before inserting contact lenses. Note: a brief stinging or redness may occur on application.

Apply a small pea-sized amount of Optimel Manuka Forte Eye Gel to the lower eyelid margin or inside the lower conjunctival sac using clean fingers or a cotton applicator. Use once or twice daily, ideally before bedtime to allow prolonged overnight contact.

A mild stinging or redness may occur for the first few minutes, this is normal and typically settles quickly as the ocular surface adjusts.

Avoid direct contact with contact lenses; wait at least 30 minutes before inserting or after removing lenses.

For best results, pair with warm compress therapy and gentle lid hygiene to support meibomian-gland health and tear-film stability.
