Q1. How do I use the cooling under eye mask?
Place the masks in the fridge for at least 10 minutes before use. Make sure your skin is clean and dry, then gently position one banana-shaped mask under each eye.
Leave them in place for up to 10 minutes. Remove, wipe clean with a soft cloth, and store back in the fridge ready for next time.
Q2. How long do they stay cold?
Up to 10 minutes once on the skin.
That is enough time for the cooling effect to work on puffiness and dark circles. If you want a second round, simply pop them back in the fridge for another 10 minutes.
Q3. Can I use them in the freezer for a stronger effect?
Stick to the fridge. Freezing a gel mask can make it uncomfortably cold on the delicate skin under the eye and may damage the gel over time.
The fridge temperature is enough to constrict blood vessels and reduce fluid retention without the risk of ice burn.
Q4. What is the cooling gel actually doing?
Cold constricts blood vessels, which reduces excess blood flow to the area. That is what helps minimise the appearance of dark circles.
It also reduces fluid retention under the eye, which is why the puffiness eases. Neither effect is permanent, but for a fresher look quickly, it works.
