A fine mist applied to closed eyelids from around ten centimetres away, made with soy lecithin, sodium chloride, ethanol, vitamin A palmitate and purified water. Q1. How do you use an eye spray?
Close your eyes, hold the bottle about 10cm away, and spray onto each closed eyelid once or twice.
When you blink, the liposomes travel from the lid margin across the surface of the eye. No aiming, no head tilting, no drop landing on your cheek.
Q2. Why would I use a spray instead of eye drops?
Two reasons come up again and again with my patients. Speed, and difficulty with drops.
A spray takes about ten seconds and you can do it at your desk without your vision going misty. It also suits people who find instilling drops awkward, which is far more common than most realise, particularly with shaky hands or a strong blink reflex.
Q3. Can I use Tears Again with contact lenses and eye makeup?
Yes to both. Because the spray goes onto closed eyelids rather than into the eye, lenses and makeup are not disturbed.
That makes it one of the more practical options if you wear lenses all day.
Q4. Does Tears Again contain preservatives?
The Australian ingredient listing includes phenoxyethanol.

Q6. Can I use it alongside my other eye drops?
Yes, but leave about 10 minutes between the spray and any other eye medicine so each one has time to work.
If you have been prescribed eye drops by a doctor, follow their instructions first.
Q7. Is it suitable if I have a soy allergy?
The liposomes are made from soy lecithin, so speak with your doctor or optometrist first if you have a known soy allergy.
